With a forecast of F5/6 W I headed out early for the high tide at 9.20am.

I arrived in Borth at 8.30am and made the usual stop off for the "call of nature" and to check out the waves "forces of nature". It was howling over the sea wall and the sea looked about head high :-) cool.

Anyway jumped back in the car to rush down to the estuary and, what, nothing. No battery :-(

So called recovery and a trip to Talybont to get a new battery then back to the estuary. It was past high tide now but still 2 hours to play in.

Went out on a 5.3m Trixx and the Mistral Flow, apart from a small wind shadow from the dunes it was maxed out. Some really good speed runs and fast carving practise. Excellent. Made a trip over to dovey, very choppy and strong current as the tide was falling.

A couple of others windsurfing from Ynyslas side and quite a number from Dovey. Great session :-)

Would have been 5 stars but didn't crack the gybe or do anything new. Great session though, I want more.
